| Major Fields Test - Biology is for selected biology major at the University of Houston only. UH students must enter their Student Identification Number when register. Non-UH students are not allowed to take this test. |
| The content of the Major Field Tests reflects the basic knowledge and understanding gained in the core undergraduate curriculum. The tests are two-hour, multiple-choice examinations designed to assess mastery of concepts and principles as well as knowledge expected of students at the conclusion of a major in specific subject areas. They go beyond measurement of factual knowledge, however, because they also evaluate students` ability to analyze and solve problems, understand relationships, and interpret material. |

| FEE: $0.00 DURATION: 2 hours Test Schedule: Mon - Tue: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Wed - Sat: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm RESCHEDULING or CANCELING You must reschedule or cancel your registration at least 48 hours before your scheduled test time and date; otherwise, you will be billed a $25.00 test fee. There is no fee to reschedule. ABSENCE ON TEST DAY If you were absent from a test for which you registered, and did not cancel or rechedule at least 48 hours before your scheduled test time and date, your tuition fee bill will be charged a $25.00 test fee. |
