Tips, Articles and Newsletters

A statewide effort to create family-based living opportunities for children with developmental disabilities who are now living in institutional care. Parents and certified community-based agencies work together to facilitate the return of children to their families or to a qualified Support Family, who then share in the children’s upbringing on either a full or part-time basis.

The Family Based Alternatives Project offers a new choice for families and a new life for children.
